The women´ participation in the scientific production of Science and Technology in Peru. An analysis of papers published in ECIPERU Revista del Encuentro Científico Internacional (2006 – 2009)

RESUMEN
Este trabajo determina el nivel de participación de las mujeres en la producción científica en Ciencia y Tecnología en el Perú, y las ciencias en que se registra dicha participación, a partir del análisis de los seis volúmenes de ECIPERU, Revista del Encuentro Científico Internacional publicados desde el año 2006 hasta el año 2009, comparando los datos obtenidos con los que arroja el registro de los niveles de participación de los hombres, y las ciencias a las que éstos han dedicado su producción científica. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que el grado de participación de las mujeres en la producción de Ciencia y Tecnología en el Perú es considerable, y por tanto, el reconocimiento profesional o académico de que gozan las mujeres que hacen y publican ciencia en este país, pero también los escollos a salvar si se quiere invertir la tónica histórica que ha imperado y aún impera a nivel nacional e internacional, que es la de exclusión y discriminación hacia las mujeres que producen ciencia.

ABSTRACT
These work determines the level of women´ participation in the scientific production of Science and Technology in Peru, and the sciences in which this participation takes place, from the analysis of six volume of ECIPERU Revista del Encuentro Científico Internacional published from the 2006 to 2009 years, to making a comparison between achieved data and data produced by the record of the men´ participation level and the sciences which these devote their scientific production. The obtained results show how the degree of women´ participation in the production of Science and Technology in Peru is considerable, and consequently, the professional and academic acknowledgment confered to the women which produce and publish science in this country, but as well the obstacles to overcome if it want revert the historic trend that prevailed and still prevail at national and international level, that is the exclusion and discrimination towards the women which produce science.
